Photograph, painting or embroidery?

I am sure that you have at least once come across a painting that looked like a photograph. Beautiful fine colours, perfect brush strokes. But did you know that embroidery can also look like this?

Course of creating realistic patterns from photographs

I am taking part in Lyuba Vodenikova’s course of creating realistic patterns from photographs. This course is an entirely new and interesting experience for me. We are learning things I never dreamed of and which will also help us in other areas of creating patterns. I decided to let you take a peek into my creative world. Although it’s just a small fragment of the entire process, I still wanted to share it with you. After all, I’m doing it all for you.

The course is quite demanding in its emphasis on details, as well as in regard to the size of the patterns. I’m not sure if I will be ever creating such large patterns, we’ll see about that in the future. But I am convinced that I will make the most of the things I learn now in the creation of other patterns.

Creative process

In the pictures you can see part of the creative process. The product is not even half finished yet. I will be cleaning the pattern, reducing the number of colours, etc. I am curious about the result myself.

In regard to the pattern complexity, it will probably be a more difficult one in terms of the amount of backstitching required in different colours, but what wouldn’t one do to feel as if among nature? Don’t you feel by just looking at this robin that it just might start to sing soon? I have to admit that I do. If you’re a lover of nature, birds, fresh air and the smell of the forest, then this pattern is just the one for you. Those of you, who don’t share my excitement for nature pictures, please accept this as a challenge. You have to admit that even someone experienced in embroidery will grapple with this a little. Follow my site and you will soon be able to buy the pattern.

To pass away the time, you can prepare your embroidery space. Being practical and prepared is half of the success. You can find more beautiful and magical patterns on my site https://www.stitchspider.com/shop/

If you’re interested in information about the pattern creating course, you can find everything you need to know at this link https://education.realstitch.ru/realistichnoe-risovanie/.

Fingers crossed my friends, that I will be able to successfully finish the pattern so that you will then be able to advance in embroidering it with joy and excitement.

I wish you a lovely day,

Maria
